Welcome to our new Westchester studio! It’s a space where young artists can explore, experiment, and create freely through hands-on experiences like painting, sculpture, sewing, and clay. Our projects are designed to truly excite kids while teaching real artistic skills along the way.
Each day is filled with creativity for every age—morning sensory art play for toddlers and preschoolers, after-school art club for older kids, and weekends with family open studio and unforgettable birthday parties.

Hey there!
My name is Shayla! I founded Paper Playground in 2023 in Brooklyn, New York, with the goal of creating a joyful space where kids can explore, create, and truly express themselves through art.
When it came time to open a second location, the choice felt easy—being originally from Peekskill, New York, Westchester is a place that means so much to me.
As a kid who always loved art, I would have dreamed of a space like this—somewhere to experiment with materials, get a little messy, express big ideas, and make artsy friends along the way. And the idea of swapping my annual bowling birthday party for an art-filled celebration? Even better.
I’m so excited to bring all the color, creativity, and a little bit of glitter to the community that helped shape me.
