Our after-school art classes are the perfect way for children to end their school day! Engaging in hands-on art activities gives children critical sensory input and allows them to process their day while having fun. We offer several themed classes that range from small projects that can be completed in one session to larger projects, like our DIY dollhouses, that inspire weeks of creativity.

costume design

Design and create your own costumes for the ultimate dress up experience! From monsters, to royalty, to superheroes, students will use their imaginations to create one-of-a-kind costumes using both new and recycled materials. Each class will focus on a specific type of costume or accessory for students to customize.

wearable art

Jewelry, glasses, bags and more! This class focuses on art projects that students can wear! Students will create and paint their own beads for jewelry-making, learn dyeing techniques to create custom socks, and make backpack candy for their backpacks.

SLIME + SENSORY PLAY

Come get messy with us! Students will engage in open-ended play at sensory stations filled with materials such as kinetic sand, water beads, bubbles, foam and more! Each class will feature a making session where students will create a sensory item such as glitter slime, scented playdough, and “magic” potions.

(Suitable for Pre-K - Kindergarten)

SLIME LAB

Become a slimer! In this hands on class, students will learn everything they need to know to make their own slime. We will cover the basics of making slime and work our way to creating advanced recipes that include special ingredients like foam beads and thermochromic (color-changing!) pigment. Students will also create their own recipe book complete with pictures to document their slime making experience.

(Suitable for grades 1 - 4)

intro to sewing

This introductory sewing class teaches students the basics of hand sewing. Through fun projects like sewing monster stuffies, emoji pillows, and pizza pouches, students will learn how to sew a running stitch, whipstitch, backstitch and more!

DIY DOLLS

Design and create your very own dolls! Will you create a doll that looks just like you, your best friend, or your favorite pet? Each week students will learn how to make a new type of doll or stuffie and customize it to be one-of-a-kind. Students will use a variety of materials such as printable fabric, paper and wood. They’ll even learn some basic sewing skills!

Toy workshop

Art that you can play with! Using new and recycled materials, students will use their imaginations to customize their own toys and games. From marionettes, to cars and stuffies, students will get the opportunity to create a variety of toys that will spark joy every time they play!

festive friends

For kids who love to celebrate! Whether it’s an upcoming birthday or holiday, there's always a reason to be festive. Students will learn how to make their own party decorations, festive wears, gifts, wrapping paper and more!

diy dollhouse

Create a custom house for your favorite characters, animals or superheroes! Students will become architects and interior designers as they design and create their very own dollhouse. This class will introduce students to architectural drawings, blueprints, and interior design concepts. Students will design their house inside and out, and create their house’s furnishings, decor, and the characters that will call the house home.

FASHION DESIGN -
WORLD TOUR

Students will take on a superstar “client” and design their stage outfits for a concert tour or music festival. Starting with an inspiration board, students will collect images, fabrics, and trims that will inspire their client’s costumes. After learning how to draw fashion figures, students will then design their outfits featuring the elements from their inspiration board. Each student will go home with a tri-fold fashion presentation board to share with the world!

(Suitable for grades 5 - 8)

SNEAKER DESIGN

Calling all sneakerheads! Join us and learn how to design your own sneakers! Starting with an inspiration board, students will collect images, fabrics, and trims that will inspire their collection. We will re-design classics like the Converse All-Star, Jordan 1s, Nike Air Force 1s and more. We’ll also look at new sneaker trends and the technology that makes them unique. Students will design their own collection of original sneakers and create a tri-fold presentation to display their designs!
